About the Position:
St. Margaret's Episcopal School, a pre-K through grade 12 independent, college-preparatory, day school serving a co-ed
population of 1200 students, located in San Juan Capistrano, CA, seeks to hire a Director of Advancement. The Director will work with and report directly to
the Executive Director of Advancement, facilitate the advancement efforts of the school and provide oversight of the general operations of the advancement
office, which includes Alumni Relations & Special Events, Annual Fund and Data Base integrity. The successful candidate will develop and oversee the
implementation of comprehensive fund-raising programs including direct responsibility for the school's Annual Fund drive.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in advancement (within private education is preferred) and
management or equivalent experience at a leadership level, as well as a proven record of successful annual fund program direction.
Requirements:
Proven leadership, interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
Excellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to multi-task in an environment of growth and activity, with efficiency
and effectiveness are essential performance skills.
A Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
