Luncheon Session 12 noon
Challenges Facing Nonprofits,
Philanthropy and Civil Society
What are the major changes confronting nonprofits as we enter
2008? How will electoral changes influence governmental and
nonprofit’s readiness to address difficult problems? How can a
nonprofit sector made up of many diverse organizations pull
together to increase effectiveness? What do fundraising
professionals and executives need to demand of themselves, their
boards, and their colleagues to maintain a caring and
professional edge while remaining competitive in the “charitable
marketplace?” The answers to these critical questions will help
us provide civic leadership.
