Convention
Dues:
- Membership dues vary, based upon category of
accountability, involvement and experience in
fundraising:
- Active Dues are $295. This includes
National AFP dues of $220 and Orange County Chapter dues of $75.
Eligible to individuals with 1 year of fundraising experience
who spend at least 25% of their time on fundraising-related
responsibilities and are compensated for those fundraising
services.
- Introductory Dues (limited to two years)
are $175. Eligible to those who are less than one year in
the fundraising field; full-time students enrolled in a
degree, certificate or diploma program; members of
organizations with a budget of $250,000 or less; executive
directors who spend less than 25% of their time on
fundraising; and volunteers. (Association dues are $100 and
chapter dues are $75.)
- Affiliate Dues are $295. Eligible to
those in fields related to fundraising, volunteers or those
with mutual interests with fundraising professionals.
(Association dues are $220 and chapter dues are $75.)
- Retired Dues are $150. Eligible to
members retired from the profession who currently spend less
than 10% of their time on fundraising (consulting, speaking
engagements, etc.) and were active AFP members in good
standing for the prior five years.
- Membership in National AFP is required for regional membership.
