SAVE THE DATE! The AFP Sunset Mixers will be held each month on the third Thursday. Mark your calendar for February 18 when Dan McQuaid of the Volunteer Center of Orange County will share on the topic of “Board of Directors”. This is a FREE event and members and non-members are welcome to attend. The Bluewater Grill will provide complimentary hors’d oeuvres.

This is a wonderful opportunity to network with other nonprofit professionals. The AFP Mixers will start at 5:30 p.m. at the Bluewater Grill in the Tustin District.

February Speaker:

Daniel J. McQuaid, the Volunteer Center of Orange County's Chief Executive since November 2005, has more than 25 years of leadership experience as a chief executive officer, community leader, board chairperson, organization consultant and trainer. Between 2000 and 2006, Mr. McQuaid had been retained as a consultant to more than 125 Southern California nonprofits. Topic: Exploring the life cycle of a Board of Directors and the changing role of the fundraising professional interacting with the Board.
